The outstanding attribute of the Irmina variety is its outstanding appearance and productiveness. The remarkably well-shaped tubbers attract with peculiarly shallow eyes.

 

Variety characteristic:

Irmina is a tall plant. A very high yield of rather big tubers is formed middle in the ridge. This variety proves itself with an unique tuber appearance that distinguish oneself favorably from other varietes. Round oval tubers are extraordinarily homogenous and are characterized by an uniform grading with low share of undersizes. Unique brightness of the yellow skin, very shallow eyes, light yellow flesh are typical features of Irmina. This variety is well suited for the wash market and for packing. The taste will surely satisfy a gourmet of the culinary BC – mealy type. Good performance at storage.
