Site requirements:
Gwiazda has middle demands to soil quality, fertilization and water supply. Performs well in dry conditions. Soils in good agricultural conditions are advantageous for ensuring a good tuber quality. An increased nitrogen fertilization should be balanced with a sufficiently high phosphorus-potassium fertilization. An excess nitrogen may extend vegetation of plants, may delay tuber maturation and may cause an excessive overgrowth of the above-ground parts of the plants.
