This variety tolerates periodic water shortages, thus gaining a real advantage over other varieties. Even in the years with drought, a satisfactory yield can be obtained. Michalina is known for a high yield of big sized tubers set deep in the ridge. The outstanding attribute of this variety is a pronounced taste. Our variety with favourite flavor has won many trophies in culinary competitions for consumers. It has a good appearance with shallow eyes, yellow skin and light yellow flesh, which is ideal for pre-packing market. Due to the short period of dormancy of tubers and quite early sprout stimulation, it is recommended to store it in a controlled atmosphere or to sale the tubers in late autumn.
