Perfect for the production of crisps, but it is also suitable for processing into dehydrated potato products and potato starch.

Variety characteristic:

Olga is a plant of medium height. The inflorescence is abundant and the flowers are colored white. Tubers of the Olga variety are uniform and medium-sized. Olga develops about 20 tubers at the height of the mother tuber. It has a very low content of reducing sugars, lower than the leading varieties in the chip industry. Thanks to this, after frying, the prepared product has a uniform, light yellow color. It is not prone to external and internal defects of the tubers, which guarantees obtaining a final product of very high quality.

Site requirements:

Olga has medium demands water supply and fertilization. It will do well in fertile and permeable soils. It does not tolerate long periods of water shortages.
