Bohun

The highest yielding variety in the early maturity potato group. Almost the entire yield is a trade fraction. Attractive round and regular tubers with an excellent taste.

 

Variety characteristic:

Bohun is a tall to very tall plant with an upright habit. Its lower leaves are distinguished by a particularly wide leaf blade. Bohun should be involved into usual spraying program for protective control of late blight. The tuber yield is set at medium depth in the ridge. The variety produces a large number of tubers that are uniform in size and have an attractive appearance. Almost the entire yield is a trade fraction. The tubers are unusually round and regular, with an excellent taste, the eyes are quite shallow and the skin is smooth and yellow. This variety convinces with a very good suitability for long term storage. It gains flavor with storage. It maintains its high food quality until late spring.
